He said that “Researchers in Canada have just published the results of some work they conducted looking at language used on cigarette packs. …. 84% believed the pack with a number 6 in the brand name would be less damaging to them than the one with a 10 in it.” How interesting that a lower number can have such an effect in the mind of smoker consumers. Back in 2005 when I was managing a computer branch of 17 staff, I asked them to guess how many pieces (between 1 -10) of sandwich or cakes were originally in the box I held. If they were correct, then they could choose & had a piece. Almost ALL guessed it was 7, which was incorrect.
