I have been absent from here for about three weeks. But I have been religiously writing up the Numerology Expert Birthday Numeroscope almost daily at my Vox blog over there.

Today, I deliver a Pure Numerology reading as a birthday present to a friend’s son at a party. Since we forget about his birthday, we come along unprepared with any present and mistaken the gathering as an usual type.

Then his mum asks for a brief reading on her other son. A sales lady at the party also asks for a quick reading.

After the party is over and we are back at home, my wife has a business idea. Why not get hostess friends to organise “Numerology Briefing Parties” for me? I’ll give them, say, a 30% cut of whatever I make in that party plus give them a FREE 30-min reading on someone of their choice. This not only let myself known to more people, but also it might line up coaching opportunities and corporate gigs for me, let alone that would give me the chance to do more presentations. I can also let them all know that I am a real estate agent who might be able to help them to buy or sell properties.

This is a similar concept to the current “Gold Party” which has become popular in Melbourne, Australia. The gold dealer gives 10% value of the gold jewelery he buys in the party. The high gold prices, together with a softening economy, encourages people to sell their holdings to get cash in a fun way.

Well, after reading this kind of Facebook incident, I promptly checked mine, not that I am famous (yet), but out of curiosity whether my name is still intact.

Guess what? Last night here in Australia (23/6/2009 12:01 am Australian EST) I spotted something strange. When I signed into my Facebook a/c, it brings up someone else’s face and his friend list. But when I clicked on the “Home” & “Profile” icon, it’s still me & my friends!!

Ok, I just try again right now at the time of writing this, such abnormality does not exist anymore. So, I suppose it’s Facebook’s glitch yesterday. I hope such hiccup stays away from me (and you) forever!

Just read today’s news from Melbourne’s prominent newspaper, The Age that “Australians’ use of Google’s search service represents one of the highest country mnarket shares in the world – about 92 per cent ….. One of Google’s key advantages in the Australian market is that it has tens of thousands of smaller advertisers using only Google as a search engine, allowing Google to deliver a bigger variety and more relevant number of paid search ads alongside other search results.”

Microsoft will unveil its new search engine Bing tomorrow (May 29 2009). Google is pretty profitable from its presence in Australia, having its tax haven in Ireland and avoids the bulk of otherwise possible Australian taxes.

Main reason for not videod it yet is I want to get my debut talk itself right first. Chewing too much from this beginning is not a good idea, sometimes. And of course, this is one of those times )

Based on the fact that it’s my first ever talk, I am quite happy with the delivery quality and reception it received.

I need either a good camcorder that has also a built-in feature to directly download to YouTube to avoid painful frustration & time wasted in the transfer or a Flip Video Ultra.

There is no Flip Video available in Australia. And it’s supposed to have NO warranty if I buy from overseas (say US) to use it in here.

I know its sound volume is not crash hot but the unit is so easy to use: just turn it on, point & shoot!!! Plus easy to upload to YouTube, which is a great time saver!

To have a good enough (let alone professional standard) video on a talk which involves writing on a white board, instant interactions with class participants, me moving around physically all through the presenation and not having a video/audio person around to help out is … for the time being, asking for a disaster. And I am no audio/visual person too.

I need to start somewhere for sure… So let me think, Think, THINK and do, Do, DO.

Few hours ago, I finished delivering the first of the two FREE evening Introduction Sessons ”Understanding Personality for Better Influence & Persuasion: How to Read A Person In Less Than 3 Seconds through Pure Numerology”.

It’s well received by 10 people with rave feedback. The next FREE intro is a week later. Then the billable course starts a week after that.

The Australian College of Environmental Studies says it’s normal even for popular course that students only enroll 1-2 weeks after attending the free intro session. So I’ll keep my fingers crossed.

Attendees say I have personality, blending in body language, psychology, spirituality well into the course, making it funny and more potent. Thanks much for the Kevin Hogan’s training materials & Coffee issues that I’ve perused and digested.

Just like what Duane Cunningham basically said: Sell the experience. Yap, sell the solution and delivery, not so much about the medium (Pure Numerology).

Think BIG, but start small. Building the business brick by brick.

During the frenzy of getting the team’s FeedBurner Feed in place and re-subscribing to all blogs, I missed to blog. I thought I had blogged in the early hours of  the morning.

There are further good suggestions from the team. I appreciate all of you much!

Steve Chambers & Philip Graves‘ way of thinking is most in line with what I’m doing: Take up the book/CD/Video route, branding myself as the “go-to” guy for numerology along the way. Philips’ pricing suggestion also resonates with my thought too.

Christian Haller talks about “along the lines of the book/mini course for others to execute.” I like that even better as it’s higher in the food chain plus even though celebrities sell these days, I don’t really want to go down the gossip & glamourous path. Yes, it’s value in providing “entertainment”, but does it really contribute to advancement of the soul? I would rather than let my students to choose their respective paths.

Yann Vernier – ProfitsTactics.com recommends getting multi-media student to help my projects at a low costs. Spot on. They are good economic resources.

I apology to Duane Cunningham as in my last post, I said he is “naughty” and “has bascially hinted on such snake oil salesmanship.” May be if I add the ” ) ” at the end, it would lightening the tone and showed that I was not upset or misinterprested his good intention: You have to be differentiate yourself from the crowd to stand out.

Christian Haller suggests to use it to “screen potential employees/partners/etc”. Yes, I’ve thought of that. The strict privacy law in Australia prohibits potential employers pry into age (and hence birth dates, but not birthdays though) or even marital status!

Yet, psychometric tests has become popular with large companies to screen and select their prospective employees.

If I choose the automated path to computerise the Pure Numerology readings, then what Rob Northrup ( $25 Father’s Day gift), JJ Jalopy (Compatibility test for young girls) & Pat Becker  (baby naming) suggest would work like clock work. But the break even point is not there until I run tens of thousand of such readings. Unless of course, I fudge like the bulk of the “suppliers” who simply cook up juicy texts and randomly match up with the person being analysed. Naughty Duane Cunningham has basically hinted on such snake oil salesmanship.

Pam Schulz  suggests to videotape the workshop. I’m thinking about that seriously. I need to buy a video camcoder and work out its operation and logistics behind the filming using a tripod. I would broadcast the free intro but make the videotaped workshop as a billable item.
