Thanks to witty JJ Jalopy, his current blog explains the “WHY” by referring its readers to an article which pretty much answers my persistent guess on verbosity of articles & books.

People asks me how long does a Numerology Reading last? I say that it can be as short as three minutes and as long as they like. And that’s for a FULL reading. It all depends on the client’s level of understanding. But people don’t drink honey out of the jar without dilution, do they?

Unfortunately to people like me who have only few words to say (lol), people in general love bulk and quantity. That’s a reason why “All You Can Eat” type of places are never that short of patrons even though their qualities is dubious.

Everytime, I rack my brain for the precise & terse analysis presented at my Numerolgy Expert Birthday Numeroscope. You would be surpised how much time it takes me to do each of those short posts. There are hardy more than 50 words unique for each day, apart from the important but lengthy Standard Disclaimer present for every post there.

In the article that I mention above, it talks about the pre-1990 commercial publishing world supported two lengths of manuscript:

1. the five-page magazine article, serving as filler among the ads
2. the book, with a minimum of 200 pages

Suppose that an idea merited 20 pages, no more and no less? A handful of long-copy magazines, such as the old New Yorker would print 20-page essays, but an author who wished his or her work to be distributed would generally be forced to cut it down to a meaningless 5-page magazine piece or add 180 pages of filler until it reached the minimum size to fit into the book distribution system.

Rob Northrup really nails the issue of twin’s personality by commenting that “the twins desires to be distinct is what drives most of the differences in my experience. they accentuate any slight differences and this causes them to diverge.” This comes from a father who has a 15-year old twins.

jc mackenzie suggests to use my skills in the niche of jury selection. I must sell myself short here by saying that it’s an unacceptable. Just a few months ago in a “less advanced” country that a company get sued by using Sun sign based horoscope to recruit staff to fill in specific positions even though the management only used this approach after analysing their existing staff using the same basis to coem to the conclusion that certain star signs does fill certain positions better thatn others.

So with Sun sign based hortoscope relatively so much more popular than nuemrology and still get the boot, you can imagine waht happens if ANYONE attempts to use numerology to select jury!

Anthony Lemme asked a tough question: “You say that a baby’s soul enters at 7 months. What if the baby is premature and born before 7 months. Does that mean it doesn’t have a soul?”

I’m sure even a baby is born prematured would still have his/her soul in the body. But the question we need to ponder and care for more is: how settled is THAT soul in that body? The more premature the baby, the more likely s/he can’t survive beyond twelve months. In the ancient China when it’s much tougher even for mature babies to survive, the parents waited till the babies became one month old before they celebrate their births. And this is still a widely held celebration as part of the Chinese culture even though there’s not much need for such practice.

When we die, the soul leaves our body and karma for that body stops at that point. Simply by observing which part of our body opens up at the time of death will tell us WHERE the exit point of our soul is. If it exits from the eyes, the eyes will stay open upon death. If it exits from the mouth, our mouth will open. If the soul is going to hell, then please your breath, it will exit from the anus and faeces will come out with that push.

Let’s face it, our behavior is a function of our character traits AND environment. Under different settings (contexts), the SAME person will behave differently. That is why people with the same birth date all over the world behave (and hence appear to be) so differently.

Before we delve into how do we read people from multiple births, allow me to explain some background understanding. After the individual soul enters the mother’s womb in the 7^th month of her pregnancy, the baby will be born at certain date & time “pre-determined” by his or her accumulated karmic debts & merits. Destiny & free will are really the two sides of the same coin: It’s our free will which creates our destiny!! Destiny is the summation of our previous actions and “non-actions” that we have  chosen.

According to the Master Numerologist who taught me the craft, the time (hour, minutes & seconds) are not considered in the reading. By deduction, they’re not important for personality profile. But when I look at the timing of birth, which controls the timing of our death, this does not make sense. But I’ll leave it for another day. In Chinese Numerology, the hour of the birth is an essential component for the analysis.

Unless the multiple births are born at least a day apart, they would have the SAME birth date. And unless in the rare case of being separated at birth or soon after birth, they would also have the more or less same upbringing environment. So, in these cases, the major differences in their behavior would be influenced and reflected mainly by their respective sex and most often called names. To a great extent, our behavior are shaped by the culture and upbringing we are in as well as the expectation of others on us. As you may recall, the significance of name is like rudder, it controls the flow and directions of our energies as well as our character traits rather than changing them. While we want to stick to a group or prone to have group think, we also have a desire to be unique and individual. As such, twins or triplets do make unconscious AND conscious efforts to differentiate themselves, making each of them “standing out” on their own. Also, while  we feel or think they are different, are they REALLY that much different from each other or one another? It takes acute and detailed observation to make valid conclusions.

You most likely heard about studies show how similar life events and habits do twins have even though they might be living far apart for decades without knowing each other’s existence.

To be truthful, unless the multiple births are born days apart e.g. one on the last hour of day one, the other(s) on the early hours of day two, they do have quite the same personality but can have quite different behaviour at any single moment as they are not exposed to the identical environment or people at those times. I know this answer is not exciting nor sexy. There are simply not enough case studies on multiple births to draw contrary conclusions. To say otherwise is simply shooting in the dark.

Ok, “today”, 13th May, is my birthday. Or should I say it’s one of my 4 birthdays. You must be thinking that I’m lucky to have so many. It actually causes (or reflects?) chaos in my life, muddling my personality. So after years of peeling off myself like an onion, I am now basically a person with a blend 5/12/1956 & 5/13/1956 birth dates.

To cut long story short, the background why I have “four birthdays”:

I was born at my home, not at hospital. With all the wisdom, my parents & grandmother decided to have my official birth date as 7/4/1956. My lunar birthday was 4/4, but since I was born on the first lunar hour ( which equates to a 2-hour period in Western time system) and an early wrong conversion to Gregorian calendar as May 12th, I later find out that it should be May 13th! (Oops, I’m so confused!)

So, I end up with a cocktail of 4 birth dates, giving me an apparant “split personality” profile to deal with. What a mess!

First, I have written my Daily Numeroscope up to 4th May.

Second, I can’t please everyone with what I do. Neither do I aim to be that. I just want to be true to my heart and soul to serve.

As I said before, analyzing ANY well known figure would not prove the Pure Numerology to be a valid modality. Simply because too many known facts are readily available to allow anyone to massage the case.

Having said that, I don’t even know about Elvis Presley’s birthday or birth date until you told me so. Neither do I know much about him apart from:

1. He still earned the most money of ANY musician ever lived or still living;

2. He was a movie star & a great singer and;

3. He ate himself into obesity and eventually death with hamburgers.

As a Numerologist, I am more concerned whether I can help someone rather than to prove Pure Numerology’s validity. Also, the past few days proved the point that controversy did “sell” or at least attracted attention, judging from the number of comments. Yesterday’s analysis on Elvis Presley only racked in 12 comments.

Today, I’m risking popularity by aiming to help Anthony Lemme to know his dad better as he said, “my dad born on January 26, 1939 who is now deceased and a bit of a mystery to me.”

Everything exists for a reason. There is no randomness of the happenings in the universe. It’s our human mind’s inability to decipher what are occurring around us that give rise to such a notion. This is a similar thread to free will Vs destiny. Once we have exercised our free will in choosing our course of action, then the result (the reaction) becomes part of our destiny. When we forget our original actions, we then wonder why such & such incidents happen. Why some are born crippled, born into a rich or born into a dirt poor family? All can be explained with the Law of Karma without which, there is no justification for morality. By the same token, even though people are born with or suffer from certain (deserved) predicaments, that does not mean that we should not help them. On the contrary, it’s part of our own duty to help these (unfortunate) souls.

But before doing so, allow me to answer a question from Darryl Pace: “Why would the random choosing of a name have an effect on the child’s future?”

It is real hard to “prove” these as facts rather than being just “beliefs”.

Ø      I have mixed beliefs with Numerology and Horoscopes as I watched a video by Derren Brown explaining cold reading.

I recommend everyone watch Derren’s YouTube video on Cold Reading. It’s an interesting & powerful technique that the fake psychics uses all the time, especially from those special phone lines that you dial in for an instant and immediate “personalised” readings! Just like casino visits, you should only look for entertainment value there, not enlightenment!

The following observation shows you another way of applying cold reading technique. Back in February this year, I deliberately read thru’ carefully the first two weeks’ of that month’s daily horoscopes columns from newspapers for what they talk about under different horoscopes. Then I simply ignore what signs they are talking about & simply cut out the part that applies to me as a Taurus.

Guess what? Most of them are applicable to me! So unless Taurus is the MOST versatile zodiac sign, otherwise you can pretty much read any Zodiac sign as your own! But that sounds so unprofessional & random. That’s exactly what I mean. I don’t know about astrology, but I did subscribe to an Astrologers’ professional forum called “Festival” back in 1996-1997 for quite a few months to observe and pick up knowledge.

I suggest whoever reads those Sun-sign based horoscopes, simply ignore their own sign and read the text of ALL signs to get their own clues !

Astrology does work but the Sun-based zodiac sign astrology is more of an entertainment value and as an English learning exercise than anything else.

Now, I suggest you read my daily Numeroscope at my Vox Blog to check out whether I use cold reading or not. I wreck my brain for each and every one of the daily comment. For sure, there’s always some commonalities for those who are born on the same day. The intricacies lie on the complete birth date and the positions (which indicate their respective strengths) of those numbers. That’s why in General Disclaimer there, I say,”Consequently, here is a broad brush comment in the absence of the birth month and the year.”
