First off, congrats to your successful talk at the workshop over the weekend!

- Numerology & Feng Shui

They’re complimentary modualities. According to my Feng Shui Expert friend Sarak K Jones, Feng Shui is scientific and is based on mathematical calculations rather than beliefs or intuition.

Allow me to use her words to explain more about Feng Shui:

“Feng Shui is one arm of Traditional Chinese Medicine [TCM], which acupuncture, qi gong, tai chi, chinese herbs all fall under.

“Feng Shui looks at your relationship to your environment – the house you live in and the land you reside on.

“It is the only modality of TCM that looks directly at the environment, not the body.

“Feng Shui, as with all TCM modalities, is based on the five element theory.

“The ancient Tao believe that everything is made of energy [science has now proven this] and the entire universe is made up of five elements : fire, earth, metal, water, wood.
Feng Shui looks to balance these 5 elements in the home, just as a chinese herbalist would balance deficient qi or earth element in the body with prescribed herbs that will strengthen that earth element, then therefore dramatically improve the overall quality of the qi in the body.”

- Thanks for your suggestion as to taking a vocal course in reducing my accent, which is always my concern. After taking Kevin Hogan’s Public Speaking Course earlier this year, I might have improved my diction a bit with practice. Still a L-O-N-G, L-O-N-G way to go

Since spoken words only counts for an extremely small percentage of the TOTAL messages the other party receive from us (my tired brain at 2:18AM “thinks” it’s 7%. Yap, I am right after checking up Brian Tracy’s Advanced Selling Strategies”), I have cheeky feelings or “self-justifications” that I might get away with murder!

For example, my Mandarin is so heavy with my Cantonese accent that it often relaxes my clients by making them laugh, once it made a middle age Chinese couple from China laughed so hard that their happy tears came out ) !

Most of the Melbournians here did NOT understand HALF of WHAT he talked about, yet they just loved him! Because he’s a people person and love to crack jokes. Like what I am making fun of myself by framing my accent as an asset instead of liability!! Ha Ha!

John, are Numerology and Feng Shui complimentary modalities in your mind and expertise? Or do you think that FS is more, umm, less dependable? or what? I was wondering because I was thinking of your site and the example of WoFS that I sent to you. JV opportunities. etc.

Sigh. I’m going to say because I am your friend. I think you will make an excellent public speaker, leader of ecourses, CD programs. Your accent is so heavy it is hard to make out your words. Is there anyone in your area with whom you can take vocal lessons for reducing your accent? I hope I have not offended you, John.
