Numerology Expert Explains WHY Calling People’s Names Gets What You Want

You become more engaged and interested once you hear your name is being mentioned. Your name is one of those magic words that others can use on you to influence your compliance to what they wants.

No wonder there is so much interest here when I discuss about the significance of your name(s). With Pure Numerology, what matters is your name most often called by the others, NOT your name printed on the birth certificate, NOR your formal name.

Just like JJ Jalopy said his wife seldom calls him JJ. So when she called him that way (“but you are JJ!”), it really lifted him up from doldrums. (This should have answered Christian Haller’s question: “So nicknames; what people call you, influences how you behave?”)

JC MacKenzie asks, “I have always been called JC but my name [which is known and understood by all who know me is Jack Charles…..so is a numerology evaluation for JC incomplete with that understanding?

JC, you are the same person in any situation. It’s just that different people have different perceptions and understanding of you. That understanding is quite often reflected and influenced subtly by the name they use to call you. Remember, personalities are our filters in seeing the world. To those who called you JC, you appear to be practical, down to earth, helpful and love to maintain your good name and reliability. Even though all know and understood you are “Jack Charles”, but HOW do most people call you? The answer to that question is THE key. We only use the name(s) MOST OFTEN called.

Words are more powerful than swords. We should choose our names carefully. When my son was born, he did not have a “5” from his birth date. So to give him balance (“5” is at the centre of the numerological chart), I choose the name Scott (1+3+6+2+2 = 14 = 1+4 = 5) which give him a “5” for him. The number of strokes of his first name in Chinese also adds up to 14 = 1+4 = 5. Perfect.

                                  _2_|_5_|_8_

                                    1  |  4 |  7

Your name is like a rudder, it channels your energy into certain directions even though it does not directly influence your character traits. We CANNOT read or assess a personality from his or her name.

Names and nicknames – those people call us and those we choose for ourselves. I knew they were important, just wasn’t aware of how important they are. Liked the bit about how you chose your son’s name.

  13. Susan says:

Very interesting post, John. I’ve been Susan and Sue variably throughout my life. Sometimes, I ‘feel’ like a ‘Susan’ and sometimes I ‘feel’ like a ‘Sue’. Right now, I appear to be in my ‘Sue’ stage … except for on business cards and legal documents.

Why is it that some people’s names just do NOT seem suit them AT ALL? It’s like they were named wrongly … every time you meet them you want to call them, as an example, Kathy when the person’s name is actually Sarah?
