I have been absent from here for about three weeks. But I have been religiously writing up the Numerology Expert Birthday Numeroscope almost daily at my Vox blog over there.
Today, I deliver a Pure Numerology reading as a birthday present to a friend’s son at a party. Since we forget about his birthday, we come along unprepared with any present and mistaken the gathering as an usual type.
Then his mum asks for a brief reading on her other son. A sales lady at the party also asks for a quick reading.
After the party is over and we are back at home, my wife has a business idea. Why not get hostess friends to organise “Numerology Briefing Parties” for me? I’ll give them, say, a 30% cut of whatever I make in that party plus give them a FREE 30-min reading on someone of their choice. This not only let myself known to more people, but also it might line up coaching opportunities and corporate gigs for me, let alone that would give me the chance to do more presentations. I can also let them all know that I am a real estate agent who might be able to help them to buy or sell properties.

This is a similar concept to the current “Gold Party” which has become popular in Melbourne, Australia. The gold dealer gives 10% value of the gold jewelery he buys in the party. The high gold prices, together with a softening economy, encourages people to sell their holdings to get cash in a fun way.

I think you’re on to something here John. I know those kind of parties would work here in my area! I once had a similar party only I invited a palm reader. This was about 20 years ago now, but I think at the time we each paid $30.00 for about a 20 minute session. I have to admit that it was complete bullcrap! The woman was telling me that I was going to meet the most wonderful man etc. but at the time I was engaged to be married. When I told her that, she said “well forget everything I said. I couldn’t read you because you were nervous.” Then she just said all this wedding bologna!
I have seen numerology be right on target every time with the people I know when I check your birthday readings. I think you would be very successful at this. Good luck!

THAT expensive! Must be still at New Age craze ~1989 over your place.
Same as then, most “readings” (palmistry, tarot cards, tea leaves & numerology) are almost purely for entertainment value ONLY. As long as consumers are aware of this, that would be a fair exchange of value IF they don’t mix up fantasy as “reality.”
But the rub is this: What is “real”?
Is your waking state real? Or is your dreaming state real? Or perhaps both are real or both are UNreal?

Yoga = Union with God, Self, the Source
Karma = Actions
The essence of Karma Yoga is to have no attachment to the fruits of our actions and our thoughts. We should act as a matter of duty, for by working without attachment we attain the Self, we self-realise back to the Source.
To acheive that, we need to vigilent all the time. In spiritual journey, until you;ve arrived at the final destination, we are still prone to temptations and fall prey to sudden & swift downfall due to our arrogance, pride and ignorance.
