Well, here it comes to the annual ritual of “declaring LOVE” on Valentine Day. This 2010, those Chinese have an unfair advantage, you can use the Chinese New Year Day as a convenient camouflage because it falls on the SAME day.
How convenient!
On this Valentine Day, allow me to share the following with you all as I choose to be accommodating to all today

Three Kinds of Beauty:
- Mind
- Heart
- Body
Beautiful heart & mind needs to co-exist for your protection.
Without a beautiful mind, your beautiful heart will put you at risk to unscrupulous manipulators;
Without a beautiful heart, your beautiful mind will put others in danger as you will rip off others to get personal gain at all costs.
Without a beautiful mind AND a beautiful heart, your beautiful body will probably give you more troubles than it’s worth. You become just a Playboy’s playmate
Three Sources of Power:
- Time
- Money
- Energy
- When you are young, you’ve heaps of time & energy but little money;
- When you’re working and going into the middle age, you probably still have lots of energy and some money but extremely time poor;
- When you’re retired, you have plenty of time on hand away from the 9 to 5 hamster wheel and may have fair bit of money if you save well & wisely along the way, but you don’t have much energy left.
So don’t aim at perfection unless you’re a jet fighter pilot or the like, aim at what bring you the maximum focused results by tenacity.
Three Steps to Success:
1. See Your Target
2. Keep It in Your Sight
3. Hit It (Until You Hit It)
Life is short. Focus to ACT to get what you want out of THIS life, starting from TNT (Today, NOT Tomorrow).
Better still, Do It NOW!
Do NOT believe in tomorrow in doing the good and appropriate things later. There’s no better time than NOW. With this approach, when tomorrow comes, it would be a a pleasant surprise rather than a nightmare.
If you were to take a 150-watt light bulb and plug it into a power source, you would light up a room.
But if you directed that same 150 watts of energy through a laser, you would cut through steel.
That’s the power of FOCUS.

You don’t need seeing miles away before you can travel safely and surely to your destinations. Think with your mind and guided by your heart to get where you want to go. So 1st decide WHERE you want to be, WHAT life you want to have …. Think of your car’s headlight. Does it need to shine through miles or kilometres away to get you safely to your destination?
Do Your Best and Be Your Best, then Live with Whatever the Results Are. You’ll have a Wonderful Life!

What a fabulous post! You are right on so many times here. This is just beautiful. Did the Chinese New Year really fall on Valentines Day this year? We like to go to Chinatown in Boston and watch the offerings to the dragons and the dragon dances. I guess we missed it this year!

Yes. And it’s BEAUTIFUL.

Well, life is just whatever WE want (I meant “MAKE”) it to be!
Guess what? On the Chinese New Year Day, we went to the Chinatown in the Melbourne City here in Australia after a visit to the restricted area of Melbourne Museum to see precious gem stones. We had the chance to hold the 50 oz (approx. 1.45 kg) natural gold nugget on our hands! It came from Melbourne location as well.
And THAT is auspicious (or superstitious, depending on the angle one cuts it!).
Gold is always cherished for thousands of years in many Asian countries like China, Japan & India for holding value, beauty and jeweleries. Holding that real gold nugget on this Year of Tiger Chinese New Year Day unexpectedly IS really good.
