The Significance of Human Breath & Breathing is ….

Good News first:

The closest answer that I’m looking for came from:

1.  Pat Becker says: (Business Owners Fast Track to Internet Profits)

The breath or chi is the absolute life force of the human being. Beside the physical, life giving benefit chi supports and connects to our most profound self. It is the ultimate source of energy.

2. My Aussie mate (it’s OK you’re from Kiwiland, New Zealand originally)

Quote

“One Breath, One Life, One God. We are linked to life through the breath. As long as we are breathing, we can grow and evolve. The breath has a greater significance than a simple physical process. As it empowers the mind, the understanding of the breath has been a secret of the eastern philosophies for many centuries.”

Bad news:

Neither is close enough overall to win the FREE reading. Both of you are pretty close matching up the first hint though.

Let me explain.

First, I must confess that I would be surprised if you could give me the correct answer.  If you can, it means you’re pretty deep into yoga or a form of Eastern philosophy.

When I hinted that :

1. Nothing to do with life & death in your most likely way of thinking;

I was referring to the life force (Prana, Qi …) coming IN with your first breath when you came into this world; and the aprana going OUT with your last breath when you leave his world.

So our life starts with the first breath IN and ends with the last breathe OUT.

Wikipedia explains:

  1. Prana : Responsible for the beating of the heart and breathing. Prana enters the body through the breath and is sent to every cell through the circulatory system.
  2. Apana : Responsible for the elimination of waste products from the body through the lungs and excretory systems.

2. Something to do with the Ultimate Truth:

I was referring to yoga scripture which said the sound of human breathing was “So’Ham” (”Ham’Sa”). The syllable “Ham” derives from the primal sound “Om” (”AUM”), meaning “I”, the Ultimate Truth, the Ultimate Being.

3. Everything to do with the “Human’s Final Destination” (sort of borrowing Kevin Hogan’s unpublished book’s title):

I was referring to the nature of YOU was reflected by the SOUND of your breathe: So’Ham (I AM THAT).

So every time you breathe, you automatically repeat once the mantra So’Ham, I AM THAT. This is the Human’s Final Destination – Knowing WHO you really are in the first place. The auto repetition is called “Ajapa japa” in yoga, meaning mental repetition of mantra on its own without conscious effort. The trick is to become aware of such repetition by cultivating inner silence.

What I have revealed to you just now is truly one of esoteric secrets in spirituality.

In essence, you are a spiritual being having a human experience and not the other way round.

I have no religion, yet I’m religious.

So, Happy Easter to All!
